If your looking rlcketraid add new hard drives get a SATA2 controller that supports 4 drives. Will keep update on things. I just built a new box with this card.

Before it’s headless, I powered done and installed just the rocketraid controller. Have you considered a 64bit version of Windows?
After all, there is only one bus. After the array finished builing like 16 or so hours i loaded freenas and everything worked.

I tested with the gig drive to make sure everything was working, and I can share it without problems. I’ll mess with jumbo frames later tonight, assuming that won’t mess anything up with my regular net connection on the router as well as my ethernet printer.

You are far better off just using a hard drive or another USB stick to store your data. Yes, you can make istall USB drive writable, but there isn’t much space. I am about to install this card with 6 gb drives and am wondering the same thing in terms of operating systems. Thursday, February 22, 2:
